The District is willing to construcc this work as
parc of our project as long as this work can be accomplished withouc delaying the ject
compledon. This letter has been pre, azed to serve as a letter of underscanding becween [he
City and the District to define the terms and condidc+ns under which this desi;n and
construcdon will be accomplished.
It is our understanding that the wor'x which the Ciry would like to have consrructed
includes, more snecifically, the following ttuee items:
Consuct approximately 600 LF of 48-inch storm drainage line from the
Alderwood Pump Stadon Sice south to Berkshire Drive. The bids received were based on the exisdng plans which do noc currendy
reflect the proposr changes described above. Our plan would be to prepare revised pians
and specifications to define the proposed additional work. The revised pians and
speccations wouid be presented to our Conaactor to obtain a price for the work. A
change order would then be prepared based on the negodaced price. Sepazate prices would
be established for each of the three "projects" to be included in the change order.
