The Everett DPW has requested that the District include the following two items of work in the work at the pump stadon site: 1. Upsizing of the storm drain pipe on the site from 30-inches (the existing pipe size) to a larger size adequate to cazry the projected flows (approximately 48- inches). The City of Everett (City) has agreed to pay for the incremental increase in the cost of this upsizing. 2. Construcdon of frontage improvements along Evergreen Way in front of the site including curb, gutter, sidewalk, and drainage system impro �ements. The City has agreed to pay for their shaze (r]�ree-fourths) of the cost of these frontage improvements. The District has agreed to undertake the construction of this additional work as part of their pzojeci at the site. However, due to the late point in our project schedule at which these requests were received, it was not possible to complete the design of these additional faciliries to be included in the original contract bid. The District has proposed to incorporate these components of the project by a change order to be negoriated with the Contractor, as described in the attached letter from Jim Blunck to Dan Mathias dated Novernber 15, 1990. The City has agreed to this approach as evidenced by Dan's concurrence to this letter and his attached letter to Jim Blunck dated November 16, 1990.
