0 <br />f <br />EVER�TT FYRE DEPARTMENT <br />' � �� �'��I����f:►; '��1��7� 1i��� <br />This permission and release dated this _L day of /"'-/ ,#��r"Oby <br />G��oW ��X�l R , herein after fre eRed to as "Owner." <br />WHEREAS, The City of Everett, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of <br />Washington, hereinaf�er referred to as "City," desires that fts Fire Departm�nt be <br />provided the opportunity to practice Structurally Damaging Evolutions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Cily's Fre Department needs to perform ladder, ventilation, hose, fi�e <br />suppression, equipment practice, forcible entry, search and rescuo, salvage, overtiaul, <br />self-contained breathing apparatus and hazardous materials evolutions, and conduct <br />other activities as part of their treining; and <br />WHFREAS, it is uostly to construct stnictures and props needed to perform such <br />evolutions; and <br />WHEREAS, the owner of a stn�cture to be demolished, recognizing the needs oF the <br />City's Fire Department to pertorm various training activities, desires to provide access to <br />said structure for ssid training purposes at no cost to tha Ciiy; <br />NOIN, THEREFORE, Owner ac�rees to allow the City's Fire Department to conduct <br />Structurally Damaging Training Evolutions in accordance with the following provisions: <br />1. Owner hereby gives and grants the Fire Jepanment of the City of Everett the <br />right and privilege to enter upon my property located at ��o <br />2��u G�z,y [!/�,�._, Everett, and to use the structure(s) for training <br />purpose� whicii may includa burning all or portions of the structure. <br />2. Owner agrees to allow the City's Fire Department to conduct trafning activities <br />within said stru�ture from the / aay of /Y�� , ias��� v►fiich <br />iraining activities s�all be completed on or be re the � day of <br />_M�v�, i�9 �°O°, understanding that the Owner may withdraw <br />permission at any iime prior to the training exercise commencing by written <br />communication with a chief officer (Battalion Chlof, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief <br />or Fire Chie� of the City's Fire Department. Furthermore, ff for any reason the <br />drill is canceled after beginning, the City assumes no responsibility to demolish <br />said building. <br />3. Owner understands that the City of EvereYt is not agreaing to bum said structure, <br />but that the City is permitted to so as part of the Everett Fre DepartmanYs <br />trairing program if the City so decides. <br />
