Mr. Wayne Wentz
October 29, 2001
Page 3
Table 1
Trip Generation Summary
The trip generation summary indicates that the proposed Sunrise Service Vocational Center
remodel development will generate net new trips totaling 15 ADT with 17 p.m. peak hour trips.
Traffic MitiQation Requirements
The City of Everett's mitigation policy as outlined in Ordinance 2425-99 requue a contn'bution to
the City for the development's fair shaze cost of implementing future local transportation
improvements. The contnbution is based on the cunent traffic mitigation fee of $900 per p.m
peak hour trip generated by the proposed development (ref. Section 11). A mitigation fee
contnbution is required for all projects which generate 1 or more daily trips. The proposed
Sunrise Service Vocational Center remodel will generate a net total of 17 p.m peak hour trips
more than the eadsting building use.
Based on the trip generation analysis and mitigation criteria descn'bed above, the total traffic
mitigation fee cost contnbution to the City for the proposed Sunrise Service Vccational Center
remodel would be$1,300 ($900 x 1 i p.m peak trips) to mitigate the traffic ir-paccs on the
arterial street system.
3
