A pedestrian <br />circulation system for the site must be approved by die Planning Director and Traffic <br />Gngineer prior to the issuance of any building permits. Walkways must allow <br />pedestrians and wheelchairs to gain easy access from sidcwalks and bus stops to <br />building entrances througl� die use of paths which are physically separated from vehicle <br />traffic and maneuvering areas. (See the city's Design and Construction Standards and <br />�pecifications Manual and Section 39.165 of the Zoning Code.) <br />20. Fire Deparmient Access - OK as sho�vn on the site plan reviewed. <br />21. When access to or widiin a structure or an area is unduly difhcult because of secured <br />openings or whcre immediate access is necessary for life saving or tire-lighting <br />purposes, die Pire Department m�ry recommend or require a kcy box to be installed in <br />an accessible location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable in ordcr to avoid <br />unnecessary damage while making entry to any building during an emergency situation. <br />22. Fire lanes shall be provided as required in Everett Municipal Codz 46.44. 1=ire lanes <br />shall be identified by rcd curbs with white stenciling statir�g "NO PARKING - PIR� <br />LANL"' and vertical signs stating "NO PARKIIVG - PIRG LAN� - TOW AWA1' <br />ZONE." Location shall be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />23. Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at <br />the street entry. Buildings shall be cicarly identilied so as to be visible and legible <br />from the access road. Individual apartments and suites, where applicable, shall be <br />clearly and legibly identified from die access road. <br />24. A tire hydrant is rcquired within 200 driving feet, but no closer than 50 f'eet, of every <br />struc:ure. Location of the hydrant(s) shall be approved by the Pire Marshal. <br />25. PREMIS� IDGNTIPICATION AND ALL RLQUIRED 1=1RG D�PARTMENT <br />ACCGSS ROADS AND FIRE I-IYDRANTS SHALL BE IN SGRVICE PRIOR TO <br />COMMCNCGMGNT OP CONSTRUCTION. <br />26.
