Vernon, Washington 98273 <br />Re: Addition of Drive-thru Idindow, McDonald's of <br />Evergreen Lday, 7430 Evergreen Way, Everett, <br />Washington 98204 <br />Dear Mr. Pegram: <br />Your layout plans and equipment list have been reviecoed <br />with the folloiaing comments: <br />1) All food-service equipment must meet National <br />Sanitation Foundation (N.S.F.) standards or its <br />equivalent. <br />2) All foo3-service equipment must be served '�y indirect <br />drains (example: floor sink and funnel dra�ns ex.:ept <br />refrigeration equipment with built-in evaporators, <br />handwash and mop sinks. <br />3) This store does not have a mop sink. The practice of <br />using the scullery sink to drain and discharge mop <br />wastes is highly hazardous. A mop sink must be added <br />at the same time you construct your drive-thru window. <br />4) <br />5) <br />Additional lighting is required o*�er the scullery <br />sink. <br />The scullery sink must be plumbed to indirect drain <br />(add funnel drains to sink). <br />6) The plan review was made from the information you <br />provided the Snohomish Health District, pl�is existing <br />facilities. Should there be any major changes and/or <br />additions to your layout plans and equipment 1ist, <br />you must notify the Snohomish Health District of the <br />changes. <br />7) It should be pointed out that the health department <br />approval of the finished installation (equipment and <br />facilities) is subject to the final field inspection. <br />idhen ready, you should ca11 for the final inspection. <br />8) In 1980, the Snohomish Health District's Board of <br />Health established a plan revieca charge for review of <br />all layout plans and specifications. The fee schedule <br />is $26.50 per hour to a maximum of $300.00 (1983 revised <br />fee schedule). Your total revieca time is one (1) hour. <br />
