F9i�man) <br />Dear Sir: <br />Mr. George D. �Vienan, as president and on behalf of Horizon <br />Enterprises, Inc., has sought from your depart�rent pursuant <br />to Ordinanc2 555-78 of City Municipal Code, Title 13, a build- <br />ing permit to construct on premises located at the corner of <br />75th Street at;d �vergreen Way, in said city, a car wash facility. <br />He has complied with the requests of the Public 44orks Department <br />for details of such construction and Mr. Cracaford of that de- <br />partment that future planned improvements at the Uuilding site <br />on Evergreen Way need not be constructed and paid for by the <br />applicant because the same were not planned by the City on city <br />property and no present need therefor existed. However, the <br />building department has been insistent on strict compliance caith <br />the aforesaid Ordinance 555 as to acceptance of a planned local <br />improvement district cn 75th Street and the deeding of ten feet <br />of the subject propert�� to the city abutting on 75th Street for <br />the widening thereof at some future time. <br />These opinions and demands as a precondition to issuing the <br />building permit under Ordinance 555 are based on the re�,�xirements <br />of that ordinance to the effect that no building permit will be <br />issued by the City for construction of a new building or facility <br />unless and until the public streets and alleys upon �ahich the same <br />
