The Burmister system provides additional soil description beyond the <br />more commonly used Unified Soil Classiiication System (UCS) used by ihe engineering <br />profession. Furthermore, the Biirmister system is more "user (riendly" for clients and <br />contractors and the Burmister table shows ihe UCS classitication corresponding to the <br />Burmister system. <br />4.3 Laboratory Testing <br />No laboratory testing conducled for ihis project due to the coarse nature of <br />gravel, cobbles, and boulders. <br />Page 4 of 11 <br />
