( <br />Motion Carried <br />DEMOLITION RESOLUTION (CB7710-368) <br />Mr. Johnson then reported on three frame structures containing five <br />dwelling units at 7526 Evergreen Way owned by a Joe F. Malotte. Mr. <br />Johnson said the electrical systems were damaged, the plumbing systems <br />incomplete, damaged a.nd substandard, and the heating systems inadequate. <br />The interior walls, floors and ceilings were damaged, the windows, win- <br />dow frames, doors are nissing and/or broken allowing access to the pub- <br />lic. He said these structures have been vacant for over a year and <br />have been a neighborhood problem and harbor for transients. The owner <br />had refused to remove the buildings. He requested demolition. <br />Mr. bialotte reported he had sold this property and requested a 30 day <br />delay for the papers to clear. Mr.Art Brandvold then said his soa had <br />purchased this property and seconded the request for a delay so that <br />the new owner could either repair or demolish these buildings. <br />Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,'seconded by Councilman Langus to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1369 as follows to be effective within 45 days. <br />Whereas on the 9th day of November, 1977 the City of Everett Building <br />Off.icial or his duly authorized representative requested the Everett City <br />Council in regular public meeting to order that those named in that cer- <br />tain NOTICE OI' UNSAFS BUILDING(S) dated the 26th day of May, 1977 <br />(Unsafe Buildings Reference No. 7705-223), a duplicate original copy of <br />which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as <br />though set forth in fu1Z herein, as the owner(s) of the unsafe building(S)� <br />or structure(s) or portion(s) thereof described in said notice prosecuted <br />z� a violator of the provisions of the City of Everett Building Code, <br />� <br />'�">j <br />
