' GEOTECE�IICAL E;NGINEERING STUDY <br />PROPOSED CASCAI3E SAOPPING C@7TER <br />CAMPUS PARKWAY AND EVERGREEN WAY <br />E�7EREI'P� WASHIdGPON <br />INTROWCTION <br />This report presents the results of a geotechnical engineering <br />study performed by Earth Consultants, Inc. (ECI) for the Vyzis <br />Commercial Brokerage and Development Cortq�any at the site of <br />Cascade Shopping Center. The site is located in Everett, <br />Washington, as shown on the Vicinity Map, Plate 1. A plan of <br />existing topographic features, structures and proposed building <br />additions is shown on Plate 2, Boring and Test Pit Location Plan. <br />Extending southward from the existing Cascade Shopping Center <br />b�;ilding will be a complex of three contiguous retail spaces <br />designated as "Great Clothes", Shops "A" a�d Mervyn's. In the <br />southwest quadrant o£ the property, adjacent to Campus Parkway, <br />two separate buildings, designated Shops "B" and Drug Emporium <br />will be erected. The proposed buildings will be constructed with <br />tilt-up concrete wall panels and concrete slab-on-grade floors. <br />Column spacings for the Mervyn's building will be 40 by 40 feet <br />with maximum height of twenty four (24) feet. Associated with the <br />building development wi11 be paved parking facilities and access <br />drives.
