A 2100 aquare foot cirive-in
restaurant £acility is being considered for the northeast coiner•
If any of the above design cri.*.eria change, we should be
conaulted to review the recortonendations contained in this rePo:^t.
In any case, it is recommended that Farth Consultants, Inc.
provide a gecieral review o¢ the final design.
SITE COAiD7CTSON&
Surface
The subject site is located in the southeast corner of the
intersection formed by Evergr.een Way and Campus Parkway. The site
comprises 2.85 acres with four hundred fifteen (415) feet fronting
Evergreen Way and three hundred (00) feet along Campus Parkway.
Undeveloed land bounds the site to the south and Cascade High
School Flayfield property bounds the site to the east.
Presently, no development has uccurred on the parcel le3ving
it in a natural state with a moderately dense alder tree cover,
ecattered small diameter cedar trees and isolated large diameter
fir trees. Associated with the tree cover i.e an undergrowth of
native bushes.
The site topography has a relatively gentle slope to the east.
The total elevation differenti.al across the site is approximately
sixteen (16) feet from the southwest to northeast property
corners.
Subsurface
The site was explored by excavating nine test pits at the
locations shown on Plate 2. Please re.Eer to the test. pit logs,
Plates 4 thXough 8, for a detailed iiescription of the conditions
encountered at-each location explored. A decription of the field
exploration methods and laboratory testing pr.ogram is included in
this report following the Discussion ancl Recomnendations section.
The test pits disclosed a uniform subsurface profile across
the site. Generally four (4) to twelve (12) inches of organic
topsoil was found covering the site over loose silty sand with
gravel. The silty oand becomes dense to very dense at two to
tnree feet below the surface. The soil ie qlacially deposited and
coneolidated with the upper loose zone being the weathered
horizon.
EaAh Consuhants, Inc.
