Offices, hospitals, <br />motels and reslaurants are but a tew of the applicalions where <br />it can be used. <br />The Model G�56, G�42 and G5�28 are UL Listed Quick <br />Response Concealed sprinklers intended (or use in accor- <br />dance with NFPA 13. FM Approves the GS56 and Ihe G5-28 <br />sprinkler as a standard response concealed sprinkler inlended <br />for use in accordance vhth FM �oss Prevenlion Data Shee12.0. <br />Product Description <br />The Reliable MorJel Gtr56, GS42 and Gr28 uses a proven <br />quick response tusible element in a standard style sprinkler <br />frame with a drop-down de(leclor. This assembly is recessed <br />inlo Ihe ceiling and cnncealed by a flat cover plate assem- <br />bly. The threaded engagement provides'/.+" (19mm) ol cover <br />adjustment. The flat cover plate is altached to the skirt using <br />eill �er 135°F (57°C) or 165°F (74°C) ordinary �emperature clas- <br />si(icaGon solder. <br />When the ceiling temperature rises, Ihe solder holding the <br />flat cover plale melts, Ihe flat cover plale released thus expos- <br />ing Ihe spnnkler inside to the rising ambienl lemperalure. <br />The subsequenl fusing ol the elemenl opens the watenvay <br />and causes lhe deflector to dislribute the water.
