a) Double doors #9 should be shown as one -hour assemblies on the door <br />schedule. Section 302.3 <br />b) The occupancy separation walls should be labeled as such on the plans. <br />c) The occupancy separation walls are not continuous vertically. The <br />floor/ceiling assemblies between the upper and lower occupancy <br />separation walls is also an occupancy separation and should be noted on <br />the plans. <br />d) The rated floor/ceiling assembly that is part of the occupancy separation <br />should be one of the listed assemblies shown in NER-200 or another <br />assembly from the UL Directory. <br />e) The walls/columns supporting the one -hour floor/ceiling assembly should <br />also be of one -hour construction. Details should be provided. Section <br />302.2 <br />f) Duct penetrations through the occupancy separation should be shown with <br />smoke/fire dampers. Sections 713.10 & 713.11 <br />5) The sprinkler room is not consistent with the size and location requirements noted <br />in Everett Standard 523 (attached). <br />6) Details for the removable guardrails should be provided. Calculations verifying <br />the loads required by Table 16-B should be included. Section 509 <br />7) Fire blocking should be shown at the intersection of interior walls and the <br />dropped ceiling (see detail 1/A7). Section 708.2.1 <br />8) The stairs that serve both stories should be shown with handrails that extend a <br />minimum of 23" beyond the bottom riser. Section 1003.3.3.6 <br />9) Two drinking fountains are required. One accessible, and the other mounted at <br />standard height.
