Your request for eliminating the trench drain and subsequent piping that was to <br /> be installed at the door opening is granted. According to section 406.6.4 of the IBC <br /> there is requirement for concrete or similar surfacing for the floor but no specific <br /> requirement for the drain. <br /> Please keep in mind that adherence to the City Stormwater Management manual will be <br /> required with regards to Section 4-2.2.2 (Disposal of oil filters and other automotive <br /> products) and with regards to Section 4-2.2.9 (Emergency Spill Cleanup Plans). I have <br /> attached these sections for your reference.
