The I <br />Corps originally issued the Nationwide Permit 26 for this project on November 24,1997� <br />and later granted an extension on January 7,1999. Ecology has only six months to <br />complete its review of projects granted a Nationwide Permit and issue a water quality <br />certification, if necessary. The six-month period expired on July 7, 199% <br />Ecology missed the six-month review deadline for this project and has consequently <br />waived its right to require a water quality certification.
