It is therefore proper to address these individuals with more <br />severe penalties and consequences for their actions. This ordinance amends the definition of a repeat <br />violator, increases the penalties for that party and gives the Violations Hearing Examiner the ability to find <br />individual or joint and several responsibility. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance relating to Enforcement <br />Procedures for City Code Violations, Amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1383-87, as amended by Section <br />3 of Ordinance No. 1780-91, Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2221-97 and Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2335-98 <br />(EMC 1.20.040) and amending Section 6 of Ordinance No. 2221-97 as amended by Section 5 of Ordinance <br />No. 2335-98 (EMC 1.20.060). <br />105 <br />
