The effect on Part II crimes was mixed and largely insignificant. <br />Since no similar effect was observed at a "control" site developed from the mean <br />crime counts of four other adult businesses, the increases are attributed to the <br />opening of the Bijou. <br />3) In August, 1988, the Fideo Preview Rental Center opened at 8743 Garden <br />Grove Boulevard.
