A <br />� <br />i <br />CITY OF EVERETT i <br />r SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT !/15-84 � <br />� <br />tor Branch Library <br />Whereas, there was filed with the City of Everett Planning Department "i <br />on November 18, 1984 an application for a Special Property Use Permit, under • <br />Everett Municipal code (E.M.C.) 19.58.010, by the City of Everett described as <br />follows: to allow a branch library approximately 1,60U square feet in area <br />which uill ��cupy 4,000 square feet of the City's 77,500 square foor. paLcel <br />located at 9500 Evergreen Iday, <br />And, Whereas, after proper notice was given as required by law, a <br />public hearing was held on December 6, i984 before the City of Everett Land <br />Use Hearing Examiner, and <br />lJhereas, after consideration of the evidence presented by the <br />Applicant; e��idence elicited during the public hearing; and as a result of a <br />personal inspection of the eubject property and surrounding areas; the Hearing <br />Examiner made findings and conclusions and rendered a decision on January 2, <br />1985 to grant the Special Property Use Permit with the following eight <br />.� conlitions: <br />1• A detailed landscaping plan is to be submitted to the Planning � <br />Departnent for review and approval for the improvements on the <br />Evergreen Way frontage. <br />Z• The parking area shall be designed with a minimum five foot wide <br />planting area adjacent to all street r.ights-of-aay pursuant to Section <br />19.40.p50(B) of the Everett ?9un:cipal Code. The lot shall be designed <br />in a manner that the internal circulation and driveway width and <br />location is acceptabl-, to the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />3. All exterior lights shall he screened in a manner that will minimize <br />any off-site impact. <br />4• Detailed drawings shall be submitted to the Public Works Department <br />showing parking layout, landscaping, utilities, storm drainage, <br />temporary construction erosion control and all required improvements in <br />the public right-of-•oay. Pr.blic Works Department approval of these <br />drawings is required prior to aay permits being issued. <br />5. Right-of-way imp:•ovements are to be made by the proposed Local <br />Improvement District. In the event the LID fails, the City will � <br />provide similar imyrovements abutting their property. <br />6• As-builts of storm sewer, ssnitary sewer and water systems will be <br />required to be submitted. <br />0636F <br />�e <br />
