Typical section does not show solid blocking at bearing walls, double <br />top plate at interior and/or exterior walls, ridge board, blocking <br />between rafters or attic ventilation. <br />8. 2x6 rafters will not provide sufficient space for R-30 insulation in <br />areas where ceiling is valuted, and still maintain minimum 1" air <br />space over insulation. <br />9.
