These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions <br />may be required by other departments (such as Utilities. Planning or Fire). All <br />references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of <br />Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the <br />Gcorrections requested. <br />1141. Provide cross section(s) through office/master bedroom, entry/stairs and new <br />garage. <br />2. Provide min. R-19 insulation at below grace walls that separate heated space from <br />unheated space. <br />' 3. Winding stairs shall have no width of run less than 6" at any point. <br />4. The plans do not meet the prescriptive requirements for lateral bracing. Provide <br />lateral analysis for wind and seismic loading prepared by a licensed Wa. St. <br />Structural Engineer. <br />/5. Concrete walls with more than Y-6" of unbalanced backfill are required to be <br />designed by a licensed Wa.
