July 20. 1999 <br />Kathleen Jones <br />3510 Oakes Ave <br />Everett, WA 98201 <br />Subject: Owner: Jones <br />Job Address: 3611 Federal Ave <br />Plan Check No.: 60171 <br />Dear Ms. Jones, <br />This letter is a follow up to the phone messages that I left over the past few days. <br />The plans that were submitted, as a response to the correction letter are different from the <br />approved site plan, which showed the garage at an angle from the house and parallel with the <br />property line. Please submit a revised site plan to show the actual orientation and configuration <br />of the proposed structure. The planning department may require a new set of height calculations <br />based on the new footprint of the building. Contact Mike Palacios at (425) 257-8810 to verify <br />any planning dept. requirements. <br />The phone message that you left today indicated that the Entry/Garage would be offset from the <br />existing office by 2% 6". The plans submitted do not reflect that configuration. Please submit <br />revised plans to show the actual configuration of the proposed changes. <br />Provide a letter and/or calculations from a licensed WA State structural engineer for the revised <br />portions of the plans submitted. The drawings submitted should bear a wet stamp from the <br />engineer of record. A photocopy of the engineers stamp on the revised drawings is not <br />adequate. All required hold-downs and shear walls as determined by the lateral analysis shall be <br />clearly marked on the revised drawings. <br />The plans submitted do not address some of the corrections from the letter dated May 27. 1999. <br />The item numbers that were not addressed are 4,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,1-4,15 & 16.
