The plans that were submitted, as a response to the correction letter are different from the approved site plan, which showed the garage at an angle from the house and parallel with the property line. Please submit a revised site plan to show the actual orientation and configuration of the proposed structure. The planning department may require a new set of height calculations based on the new footprint of the building. Contact Mike Palacios at (425) 257-8810 to verify any planning dept. requirements. The phone message that you left today indicated that the Entry/Garage would be offset from the existing office by 2% 6". The plans submitted do not reflect that configuration. Please submit revised plans to show the actual configuration of the proposed changes. Provide a letter and/or calculations from a licensed WA State structural engineer for the revised portions of the plans submitted. The drawings submitted should bear a wet stamp from the engineer of record. A photocopy of the engineers stamp on the revised drawings is not adequate. All required hold-downs and shear walls as determined by the lateral analysis shall be clearly marked on the revised drawings. The plans submitted do not address some of the corrections from the letter dated May 27. 1999. The item numbers that were not addressed are 4,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,1-4,15 & 16.
