January 9 1970
Mr. Henderson
6110 Fleming
Everett Washington 98201
Dnar Mr. Henderson:
In anawer to the rquest you made
given to the FHA representative
following are listed from memory
the original letter.
for a list of the corrections
at the time of the remodel the
as we seem to have misplaced
Job Location 6110 Fleming _ to Lyle Kent Salective Properties.
A new service of proper ampacity must be installed. The existing
servica is not only too small but the wrong type for outdoor use.
The existing panel is rtaunted so high on the side wall it is
impossible to replace fuses without resortin to a 10 or 12 foot
laddar. In cese of emergency a person could be killed or a fire
progress beyond control before the power could be interrupted
where the panel has been made so inaccessible. There was an in-
sufficlent number o£ outlets throughout the house which requires
resorting to extention cords to taka advantage of useable floor
space. Separate utliity circuits are needed in thQ kitchen. The
present are on the qeneral lighting circuits and are overfused in
order to maintain power. The wlring in the basement has been
installed by an unqualified person as there are so many violations
axtreme hazards e>:ist such as exposad live metal pnrts conductors
lying directly on the metal heat ducts tap splices made with 3 amp
ratad zip cord. The wiring to the furnace has been draped over
water pipes and heat ducts and onter the furnace througii the un-
bushed hole in the metal side of the furnace. Vibratlon from the
fan will in time causo this to short out and possibly cxuse a fire.
The switches at the top of the stairs and at the side of the large
garage door are of a type whlch are no longer approved by the Under-
writters. The switch aiiring and the connections must bo rrnde
inside of box enclosures.
