The plans do
not contain sufficient detail to perform a plan review of the work performed
without permits on the above-referenced structure. The scope of which was
described and observed in our conversation with you on site January 6, 2003.
Two new sets of plans need to be submitted to the Engineering/Public Services
Division showing how the requirements of the Washington State Energy Code
(WSEC), Washington State Ventilation and air Quality Code (VIAQ), and Uniform
Building Code (UBC) are met. Provide necessary cross-sections, plans and details
to show compliance with tl. codes.
It was observed by City staff that work is continuing on the premises. This letter
is also a reminder that the "STOP WORK" order is still in affect, and that"NO
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES" should be taking place until all required permits
are purchased.
Plans and sections as needed, must be submitted by the 1 of March 2003 or the
file will be turned over to the Office of Neighborhoods, Code Compliance division
for Violation Citation Process.
An envirormentally sensitive area is present on site. A geotechnical report will
need to be prepared by a licensed geotechnical engineer, addressing the stability
of the slope and retaining wall located to the east of the residence, as well as
any unconsolidated fill on site. Depending upon the report, additional review
may be needed with regards to the integrity of the deck and building addition on
the east side of the residence. In addition, a fence is located on site which is in
violation of Section 39.070.A.1 of the Everett Zoning Code which limits the height
of fences to 42" when located within the twenty foot front setback.
3
i_;I' rF =':iE"E• 'c' CdOHf S1fB9I CVBrcir. :VA ?EG'1 • IdG) ZSI'-Ei • !'8X f.12) Cr-F.0
