The <br /> required area for natural light is 1/lOth of the floor azea, ventilation is 1/20th of the floor <br /> azea. Both bedrooms do not have sufficient light or ventilation. <br /> 2. Provide size of all windows and doors on the plans. <br /> All dwellings shall have an exit doorway of a size to permit the installation of a door not <br /> less than 3 feet (914 mm) in width and not less than 6'-8" (2032 mm) in height. When <br /> installed, exit doors shall be capable of opening so that the clear width of the exit is not <br /> less than 32 inches (813 mm). <br /> C3: All dwelling units shall be provided with a whole house ventilation system - Whole house <br /> ventilation systems shall supply outdoor air to all habitable rooms through individual <br /> outdoor air inlets, forced-air heaUng system, ducting or equivalent means. <br /> 4. Provide exhaust fans in each kitchen, b:,throom, water closet, laundry room and other <br /> rooms where excess water vapor or cooking odor is produced. Minimum 50 CFM fan in <br /> bathroom and laundry; minimum 100 CF!N :.tn in kitchen. <br /> S Specify on the plans that the whole house fan shall have a manual control and an <br /> automadc control.
