•21 ® Install a 3/4" non-adjustable temperature and pressure relief valve on hot water tank <br />and a 3/4" discharge line to outside or to an interior drain. Rating of valve shall <br />not be greater than working pressure rating of water tank. <br />•22 O L7 (a) Replace all deteriorated rotted or damaged wood foundation and framing members, <br />including posts, plates, beams and joists in underfloor area, with sound material. <br />No wood to remain within 6" of ground. <br />Q (b) Replace all skirting and other wood in contact with the ground with material <br />resistant to rot and infestation. Finish all exposed new or repaired work to match <br />exterior. No wood to remain within 6" of ground. <br />-23 L/ Install new gutters, elbows and downspouts on main building. Apply primer and two <br />coats of exterior 15aint to match existing finish. <br />-24 :7 Install plastic laminate or equal to kitchen counter top and back splash after first <br />replacing any damaged or rotted underlay. <br />-25 D Install 8"xl4" galvanized hardware cloth screened crawl space area vents <br />of-- mesh one near each corner) to adequately vent crawl space area. <br />Note: Metal louvered nail on vents are not acceptable. <br />-26 Q Install an acceptable vapor barrier ground cover over entire crawl space area. <br />-27 u crawl space shall be graded and sloped to prevent ponding of seepage water. Cover entire crawl space with acceptable vapor barrier. <br />-28 G% Install 1/8" screened hooded roof or 1/8" screened louver type gabe vents to provide <br />positive cross ventilation of attic space. <br />-29 u Submit evidence that the leased 0 gas furnace burner 0 hot water tank has been <br />purchased from the utility company or has been replaced with new equipment and is now <br />part of the realty. (Leased equipment not acceptable). <br />:-30 0 Install a new forced air, wall, baseboard, or other heating system adequate to heat all <br />finished rooms to 700 Fahrenheit. Submit heat loss calculations and installation plan <br />for approval prior to installation. Space or room heaters are not acceptable in <br />dwellings of this type. If electric heat is installed, adequate insulation and wiring <br />and service panel are required to meet minimum housing standards of authority having <br />jurisdiction. <br />:-31 v Sand and refinish hardwood floors in the following rooms: <br />Painted fir floors may be repainted. NOTE: The installation of carpeting and cushion <br />meeting UM-44c standards in these areas is an acceptable alternate method of satisfying <br />this condition.
