Roof
drnins should not be tied ro the footing drainage systems, but should bc detained and
conveycd via a separate tight line to the storm sewcr.
EROSION CONTROL
Thc surficial soils within thc subjcct properry are susccptiblc to potcntial crosion if
disturbed by construction or other activitics. Erosion controls arc thcrefore recommended,
including the proper control of surfacc watcr nmoff, minimizing the timc of exposure in the '
area strippcd during constniction, and prompt rcvegetation. All stormwatcr runoff frotn
roofs and driveways should bc routed to the sewcr within thc allcy. Stormwater from othcr
imprvious surF.ices such as decks that cannot be routed to the sevcr should be disposed of
via dry wclls located at least 10 fect upslopc from thc setback buffcr. Concentrated surface
watcr runoff should not bc permitted to discharc onto areas sioping more stecply than 25
percent.
CLOSURE
Thc scrviccs described in this report were preparcd under thc responsiblc chargc of
Donald W. Tubbs, a gcologist as dcfined by EMC 19.4. Dr. Tubbs undcrstands thc
requiretncnts of the currcnt Gcologically H.v.ardous Areas Chaptcr EMC 1937.OS0 and thc
definitions of the applicable tenns contained within GMC 19.4. Dr. Tubbs personally
perfonned a gcological nssessment,conducted a ficld investigation,and researched historical
records on or in Uie viciniry of the above refcrcnced site. In Dr. TubUs' opinion the scopc
of scrvices completcd for this project is adequate to mcct the requiremcnts of thc Department
oP Planning and Community Dcvclopment. Dr. Tubbs has concluded that, if the
rccommcndations within[his repor[are implementcd, the proposed dcvclopment will avoid
impacts ro thc geoloaically hazcu•dous areas and that nocologic hazards will result from thc
prosed devclopmcnt eithcr within the site or on :.my adjacent propertics.
This rcprt has bccn prcparcd for Robert Kincaid and his agents for use in planning and
dcsign for the proposed devclopmcnt. Descriptions oF subsurface conditions relativc ro
found.con ,nno .uid othcr aspects of thc proposed development are based on surfacc
observations and subsurfacc explorations. Therc arc possiblc variations in subsurface
conditions betwcen thc locations of thc cxplorations and also below the depths explored.
Conditions should bc confirmed by obscrvations in the e..cavations at the time of
constniction. /u
1
7505 West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast Redmond,Washinalon 98052 425-882-4850 www.tUbb3.cum
