Uischarges <br /> 25. Discharge oF sewage from vessel toilet facilities while in the marina/boatyard facility <br /> is prohibited. Pumpout facilities are available for hoiding tank discharge at the fuel <br /> dock, the handicap dock and the Tenth Street Boat Ramp—free of charge. <br /> Information on commercial pumpout facflities is available at the South Marina OHice. <br /> 26. All substances prohibited by law irom disposal in a sanitary sewer system (I,e., <br /> dangerous wastes, pesticides, flammable materials) shall not be disposed of in Port <br /> toilet facilities nor inlo lhe sewer system indirectly through vessel holding tanks. <br /> 27. No liquid or solid waste shall be dumped in stortn drains or on the ground. <br /> 28. Contamfnated Bilge Water: <br /> ✓ Bilge water conlaminated with oil, antifreeze, solvents or sfmilar materials shall not <br /> be pumped or emptied into marina facflity waters. <br /> ✓ D(scharged bilge water shall not cause any visibie sheen on the water. <br /> ✓ The use of dispersenis or mechanical means to dissipate slicks is prohibited. <br /> ✓ Information on disposal locations for such malerial and the names of local <br /> contractors disposfng of ihem, as well as information on absorbenl product use and <br /> disposal, is available at the South Marina Office. <br /> 29. Oil or hazardous material spills that occur despite preventive measures should be <br /> stopped at lheir source and then contained. <br /> ✓ Facility users are required to report spills to the Coast Guard and Dept. of Ecology. <br /> ✓ The South Marina offtce shall also be notifled of any spills occurri�g at the boalyard, <br /> haulout or marina facfllty. <br /> 30. In case of a spill at a POE facil(ty, marinalboatyard users sliall: <br /> ✓ Immediately stop lhe source of the spill. <br /> ✓ Shut of all ignition sources in the area. <br /> ✓ NO SMO!<ING <br /> ✓ Call the Marina O�ces(Day� Niglit: 259-6001), and <br /> ✓ 1-800-OILS-911 lo report the spill. <br /> ✓ Contain the spill. <br /> ✓ Recover the spill as quickly as possfbie. <br /> Chemicals and Fuels <br /> 31. Slorage of oily rags, open paints, open solvenfs, open ihinners, c�asoline, or olher <br /> flammable or exploslve material is prohibited on or within tlie marina/boatyard <br /> complex, except for gasoline stored aboard a vessel in U.L. or Coast Guard <br /> approved gasoline containers. <br /> 32.
