Area J-3 is an area where ifs not possible to remove all the contaminated soils, so the plan is to mass excavate the area down 4.5'from existing, and then cut in a trench for the 8"sewer, and then to cap the existing soil with a non-woven geotextile fabric and place the pipe and backfill the area. Initially,this section of pipe was included in the Craitsman District Boatyard Development infrastructure drawing package (currently in for city review), but it made sense to move up the installation of this one section of pipe and have our contaminated soils excavation contractor install it while they are on site at this time. What is the time frame that will be needed for obtaining a permit for this work? I've attached a copy of the drawing C1.1 and CS1.7 tor your review. The scope of work is: 1. 210 If B" PVC Sewer Line,with 48" manholes on each end. The manholes and the new pipe would not be connected to any existing sewer system at this tirne. Final connections lo City ot Everett sewer system would be done as part of the Craftsman District Boatyard Development permit. 2. Install 270 If temporary above ground 6" HDPE to maintain water service l0 12m street bulkhead. Existing water line will be disturbed as part of the Area J-3 contaminated soiis removal. Besides the permit applicalion form,lhe two drawings and applicable specifications, is there anylhing else that you would need included as part of the permit submittal for lliis small scope of work?
