Two set of revised documents are required for plan review to resume. For <br /> clarificakion, please have the engineer cloud and identify any revisions to the drawings. <br /> Type I Hood Review <br /> 1. The listed assembly for the grease duct enclosure system of one hour resistant <br /> grease duct fire v�rap should be shown to meet the requirements of ASTM E 2336 <br /> and as a through-penetration fire� op to meet the requirements of ASTM E 814 or <br /> UL 1479, per IMC section 506.3.6, exception 3. <br /> 2. A plan of the second floor shaR should be shown on the drawings with the <br /> following dimensions: inside clear space of the shaft, Type I hood duct sizes, and <br /> the thickness of the grease duct fire wrap on both Type I hood ducts, per IMC <br /> section 506.3.10.1. <br /> 3. The start and termination of the grease duct fire wrap for the Type I hood ducts <br /> should be shown on building sections (sheets M6 and M7) to extend from the Type <br /> I hoods to the outlet terminal, per IMC Section 506.3.10.2. <br /> 4. The kitchen ceiling height should be shown on the shown on the building sections <br /> (sheets M6 and M7). Where the kitchen ceiling abuts the Type I hoods, 18 inches <br /> of a smooth, cieanable, nonabsorbent and noncombustible material should be <br /> shown on the drawings between the hood and the ceiling material, per the <br /> exception to IMC section 507 �. <br /> 5. The location of the two Type I hoods and the Type II hood should be identified <br /> with arrow-headed notes on sheets K-1 and K-5.
