This visit was <br />prompted by an inspection report from the City of Everett dated 3/30/00. The condition <br />of the stem wall was found to have a large bulge at approximetely 4 feet from the top of <br />the basement slab. As explained by the contractor, the form was not properly constructed <br />and broke during the pour, resulting in the bulge. Additionally, the top of the stem wall <br />was not level and required grout to provide equal bearing of the sill plate. [t is the <br />opinion of this office that these items will not compromise the structure. An additional <br />note is the stem wall at the garage entry.
