A specially designated area will be rcyuired for ���asliing of cars by tenants of' the project. 1'he area <br />must be hydrologically isolated 1'rom U�e rest of� the site, be covered, and washwater i7om the arca must <br />drain to the sanitary sewer after Ueing rouled through a baftle-type oil/�vater separator designed to City <br />standards. Signs mus[ be posted on the site limiting car washing to the designated area only. The tenant <br />Icase or rental agrccmcnt must contain a clause prohibiting car washing on U�e sitc outsidc of the spccially <br />designated area. A covenant must be mcorded and signed by the owner stating tha: such a clause �eill bc <br />���ritten into the tenant lcases and/or rental agreements. !n addmon, a note stating that car �vashing is only <br />permissible iu tlte designated area must be included on the sronn drainage plaus. <br />18. As an alternative to the specially designateJ car �vashing area, hosc bibs can be eliminated from the <br />site or tenant access to them prevented. lf this oplion is excrcised, thc tenant lease or rental agreement <br />must contain a clause prol�ibiting car washing on tlic site. 'I'his message is rypically spray-painted onto the ground adjacent to tlie catch basin with <br />the use of a stencil.
