That the authorization of such variance will not be materially <br />detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to prcperty in the <br />vicinity or zone in which the property is located. <br />Finding: Public Works had no comment on the variance. The variance, <br />if granted, could not adversely affect the properties to the north <br />and south, and would give additional separation when a house is <br />constructed on the vacant lot to the east. The lot to the west is <br />also vacant and is owned by the applicant. <br />Conclusion: Authorization of this variance would not be materially <br />detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property in the <br />vicinity. <br />4. That the granting of such variance will not adversely affect the <br />Comprehensive General Plan. <br />Finding: The Comprehensive Plan designates this area as single <br />family residential. <br />Conclusion: The proposed use is single family residential and so is <br />in confora-ance with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Everett does <br />hereby order that the variance to allow a 10 foot rear setback instead of <br />the 20 feet required by Codo be GRANTED and further require the applicant to <br />meet the following conditions. <br />1. Obtain all necessary Building and Public Works permits. <br />The action of the Board of Adjustment in GRANTING a variance Lnall be <br />final and conclusive, unless within fifteen (15) days from the date of <br />issuance and signing of this order by the Chairman of the Board, an <br />aggrieved person or persons obtains a writ of certiorari from the Superior <br />Court of Washington for Snohomish County for the purpose of review of the <br />action taken. <br />DATED this 6th day of January , 1987. <br />z � <br />Chairman,'Board of Adjustment <br />Notes to ApDlicant: <br />1.
