Lynnwood, Wash. 96036 for a <br />variance from Section 19.14.050 of the Everett Municipal Code, <br />Yard Requirements, Paragraph B for permission to construct a <br />twenty (20) foot road to the rear of the property and be able to <br />leave the existing residence to within two (2) feet of the S�uth <br />side property line on Lot A rather than the code requirement of <br />five (5) feet from the side property line. <br />Legal Description: The North '� track 28 <br />Highland Acres <br />Address: 5624 East Drive <br />2oning: R-2 Single Family High Density <br />Residence. <br />Mr. Crabb represented himself and mentioned he was in ti�e process <br />of purchasing the property. . <br />The present owner of the property, Lee McGlothern had the following <br />statements to make: <br />1. The property will be'landlocked without the variance. <br />2. This would reduce the value of the property by at least <br />258. <br />3. Seven years ago substantial work was done to the rented <br />house located on the front lot. <br />There was some of the neighbors of the area that were against the <br />granting of the variance and their reasons, statements, and <br />questions were as follows: <br />1. There is a running creek through the property. <br />2. Whenever the creek plugs up there are some basements that <br />flood. <br />� 3. Drainage must be controlled. <br />i <br />4. There are too many duplexes in the area now. <br />. � 5. Are there future plans for renovating the present <br />� existing structure?
