These comments address building issues only, addidonal revisions or additions may be required by other degartments (such as Utilidcs, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Buildmg Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Edidon, unless stated otherwise. 1. The plans submitted are incomplete. The comments that follow are general in nature and may not be complete. 2. Plans shall wnform with Chapter 5 and Secdon 903 as follows: a) Table No. 5-A or 9-C for wall and opening protecdon. 3. Parapet wall height and construcdon shall be not lcss than indicated in Section 1710. 4. Fire stops shall be defined on the plans. Firestopping location and materials shall comply with Section 2516(�. 5. Provide toilets per Secdon 905(d). 6. Provide a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface on floors and walls of toilet rooms per Secdon 510(b). 7. Toilets shall be located in clear space a minimum of 30 inches wide with a minimum clear space of 24 inches in front of the toilet. Section 511(a). 8. Provisions for roof drainage are required per Section 3207(b). Roof drains shall be sized per the Uniform Plumbing Code, Appendix D, using a rainfall rate of 3 inches per hour. 9.
