PRESENT USE OF SITE <br /> The site is on the northwest corner of Elm and Alder Streets , <br /> approximately one and a half blocks west of View Ridge Elementary <br /> School , and consists of two single family residences . The house <br /> on the corner is 4930 Elm and is presently a rental house . The <br /> next house is 4928 Elm and is our personal residence . <br /> 2. PROPOSED USE <br /> The proposed use of 4930 Elm is to operate a preschool and <br /> daycare . The yards of both 4930 and 4928 Elm are planned to be <br /> used as the playground area , which is why both addresses have <br /> • been included in this application . The only change to the site <br /> that is anticipated is the construction of a fence around the <br /> yard as required by State law for daycare centers . This daycare <br /> is being proposed because other home daycares in the neighborhood <br /> have closed this year , and a need is perceived for this service <br /> in the neighborhood . <br />
