Everett, WA 98203 RE: SPU #15-85 I plan to have a maximum of 28 students at any one time. I will accept students age two and a half and up, and they must be toilet trained. I plan to offer day care and preschool for two and a half to five year olds , before and after school day care for elementary school students , and preschool only for two and a half to five year olds . I expect that the oldest children will be fifth graders from View Ridge Elementary School . However, if I am caring for several children from the same family, it is possible that I will be providing before and after school care for students beyond fifth grade. Day care will open at 6 :30 A.M. and close promptly at 6 P.M. Elementary school children will leave as a group at 8 :15 A.M. and return as a group after school between 2 :30 P.M. and 2 :45 P.M. Preschool will start between 9 A.M. and 9:15 A.M. and end at 11 :30 A.M. There will be three employees , the school director and two assistants . The only off-street parking is space for one additional car in the driveway of 4928 Elm. Since 4930 Elm is on a corner, there is a substantial amount of on-street parking available. I estimate that four cars can park in front on Elm street, six cars on our side of the side street Alder, and six cars on the other side of Alder. But , it is not reasonable to assume that all of these parking spaces will be necessary at any one time because children will be dropped off and picked up at various times throughout the day, and quite often more than one child from a family will be cared for. There will be no one living at the day care. The main floor will be used for day care and preschool , and the upstairs will be used for administration and storage. The play area will consist of the entire yards of 4930 and 4928 Elm which is approximately a quarter of an acre. There are no major changes anticipated to the landscaping. The yard will be required to be fenced for State licensing. This fence will be four feet high and can be either chain link or cedar, depending on whatever is required of me.
