West Elevation = 1 wall sign cabinet a maximum of 60 square feet in area. <br /> 2. East Elevation = 1 wall sign cabinet a maximum of 56 square feet in area. <br /> 3. North Elevation = 1 wall sign cabinet a maximum of 35 square feet in area. <br /> 4. South Elevation = 1 projecting sign a maximum of 72 square feet in area. <br /> None of these signs shall be retrofitted or replaced without further review and approval from <br /> the City of Everett Planning Department. Exception is to replacing the changeable copy <br /> panel in the sign cabinet. <br /> • There are several wall signs existing on the building, which will need to be removed prior to <br /> issuance of a buiiding permit. <br /> • Ail sandwich boards and portable signs shall be removed prior to issuance of a building I <br /> permit. Any replacement of such signs shall be a violation of this decision and subject to <br /> code enforcement action. <br /> • All copy shall be removed from the existing awnings and canopy's on site prior to the <br /> issuance of a building permit. The appiicant will need to maintain the same color of the I <br /> existing awning in replacement or retrofit of the structures. If the awnings skins are not to � <br /> be replaced, the applicant shail provide documentation as to how the copy will be removed j <br /> and the existing skins will be restored. If the skins are not replaced a letter outlining the � <br /> continued maintenance of the awnings shall be provided to the City. The applicant will � <br /> need to address how the skins wiil retain their restored color, and the area of repair will not <br /> appear to diminish in an unreasonabie timeframe. If solid color is not maintained or the � <br /> resulting color is not integrated with the existing awning color, the Director may require � <br /> replacement of the existing awning skins. � <br /> • Permits are req�ired for the sign for both erection (building) and for illurnination (electrical). � <br /> If a complete application has not been filed for a building permit or eGuivalent ` <br /> construction permit within eighteen (18) months from the approval date of this decision, <br /> the permit shall be deemed terminated, unless an extension is granted. If the permittee <br /> requests an �Ytension in writing not later than eighteen (18) months from the land use <br /> permit date, the Dtrector may grant a six (6) month extension. ; <br /> I <br /> The applicant or any aggrieved property owner may appeal the Planning Director's decision � <br /> within 14 calendar days of the date of this decision. Appeal forms are available from the <br /> Planning Department and must be submitted along with the requ;�ed filing fee.
