The drive-in car hop restaurant in
the 1950's has given way to the stop-in/take out or sit down establishment.
They are serving a more family oriented atmosphere and larger numbers of
, peopl.e having a higher turnover. Our current code ;as written and regulated
for Che 1950's type of fast food restaurant. The ASPO survey showed that
parking needs should be ;.trained site by site by the following: 1)
anticipated volume of store, 2) type of location, 3) amount of pedestrian
traffic, 4) number of seats, 5) local ordinance. This is one issue that the
staff will be looking at in our zoning code update which we are currentrly
I starting to review.
% i
REYURT PREPARBD BY: //'L':' L'L., .
