The increased vehicular activity stimulated by this project <br /> would be minimal in comparison to other development in the immediate <br /> vicinity such as the Everett Mall . It is expected that the proposed <br /> iraprovement of S. Broadway including iraffic li9hts, left and right <br /> turn lanes and pedestrian sidewalks will alleviate current traffic <br /> problems and simplify access and egress from the site. <br /> 14. Public Services <br /> A. Fire protection will b? required and the building will be equipped <br /> with a fire alarm system. <br /> B. Police protection will be required and the burglary alarm system would <br /> be routed to the closest police station through an intermediary. <br /> 16. Utilities <br /> A. Electrical transformer will be provided on site. No natural gas t�e-in <br /> is planned. <br /> B. Phone lines will be brought in below grade to both the proposed <br /> building and to "The Cxchange." <br /> C. The present water line is across S. Broadway, although it is understood <br /> thz.t Diagonal 41ay Business Park has made arrangements to bring water <br /> to their site on the north side. The proposed building would tie <br /> into the closes� �aater main. <br /> D. �anitary sewer would tie into existing 36" sanitary sewer line adjacent <br /> to site. <br /> E. Storm w•ater is currently carried in open ditches either side of S. <br /> Broadway. The proposed project would provide below grade, on-site <br /> storm sewer system draining into the proposed storm sewer as part of <br /> the improvements to S. Broadway. <br /> F. Solid waste pick-up and disposal �aould be required. <br />
