There would be no effect on existing parking facilities in the area as all parking needs would be met on site. C,D,F The impact on movement of people and vehicles as well as transportation system would be conceiitrated at the interface of the site and S. Broadway. The increased vehicular activity stimulated by this project would be minimal in comparison to other development in the immediate vicinity such as the Everett Mall . It is expected that the proposed iraprovement of S. Broadway including iraffic li9hts, left and right turn lanes and pedestrian sidewalks will alleviate current traffic problems and simplify access and egress from the site. 14. Public Services A. Fire protection will b? required and the building will be equipped with a fire alarm system. B. Police protection will be required and the burglary alarm system would be routed to the closest police station through an intermediary. 16. Utilities A. Electrical transformer will be provided on site. No natural gas t�e-in is planned. B. Phone lines will be brought in below grade to both the proposed building and to "The Cxchange." C. The present water line is across S. Broadway, although it is understood thz.t Diagonal 41ay Business Park has made arrangements to bring water to their site on the north side. The proposed building would tie into the closes� �aater main. D. �anitary sewer would tie into existing 36" sanitary sewer line adjacent to site. E. Storm w•ater is currently carried in open ditches either side of S. Broadway. The proposed project would provide below grade, on-site storm sewer system draining into the proposed storm sewer as part of the improvements to S. Broadway. F. Solid waste pick-up and disposal �aould be required.
