All rcquired firc access <br /> roads must be in scrvicc prior to commeuccment of construction. <br /> When access roads cannot be installed due to topography, watcnvays, <br /> nonnegotiable gradcs or olher similar conditions, the chief is authorized to <br /> require additional fire protection as spccificd in Section 10.501(b) oC the <br /> liniform Fire Codc. Such devices or appliances may consist of automatic fire <br /> alarm syslems, automatic sprinkler or waicr spray systems, standpipe and hose, <br /> fixcd or porlahlc firc extinguishcrs, suitablc fire blanhets, Urcatl�ing apparahis, <br /> I� <br />
