Contractor corrected this problem prior to the <br />pour. Dowe.ls for thE stemwall were 'stuck" as the placement progressed. <br />�4.0��: Concrete whzch arrived on job was 3000 lb, mix design irom <br />Cadman. Str.uctural note� require batch plant inspection if mix design <br />concrete i:; used, and no inspection was provided. Called the architect <br />and he waived the requirement for this pour and the concrete was placed. <br />Concrete was placed dirertly from the chute, and was consolidated with <br />inteznal viUration. One set oE three concrete test cylinders was made <br />from a sample with a slump of 2 3/4" <br />INSPECTOR: PAT BOSS <br />� <br />Place ent: Concrete was placed today at stem walls on line 7 and <br />footings for north wall from line 7 to the east wall. <br />Reinforcinca: Checked the re-steel and found it to conform to the plans <br />and speas with the following exceptions: Only one # 4 bar was at the top <br />of the stem wall rather than the two required; there were insufficient # <br />3 ties around vertical # 7 bars at pilaster.s; there were insufficient # <br />3 hairpins at the pilasters; and #4 corner bars were not present at wall <br />intersections. All the abo+�e noted were carrected prior to placement of <br />concrete. <br />on : Concrete was delivered by Cadman and placed b�• chute. <br />Gonsolidation was by internal vibration. Made one set of three concrete <br />test cylinders from a sample having a slua�p of 3 3/4", representing the <br />approximately 18 cubic yar�3s placed today. <br />INSPECTOR: BOB GARDNER <br />
