Inspected the batching operations for 18 cubic yards of concrete and found the batch weights to be within U.B.C. tolerances for this mix design when cocrected for the moistuce content as measured by the electronic meter at the plant. INSPECTOR: DICR BOSS 1-23-85 Masonrv: Began full time masonry inspectiuon today. Masons had begun laying block on line 7 between B-2 an� E-2 yesterday with no notice given our ofEice. Block ��as laid to the lst 4' level bond beam between E-2 and B-2 on line 7 and to 12' level between E-2 and H-2 on line 7 on Tuesday 1-22-B5. Inspected resteel in placz in masonry wall on line 7. The 2 horizontal #7 bars at C-2 were missing. Called the architect for. clarification of note on plans calling for 2 k�orizontal # 7's @ 16" o.c. as to whether these were also required in the stem walls. Answer was no, only in masonry walls. The masons tore down the block at C-2 to place the reinforcing mantioned above. No bond beam was placed at bottom of this wall on this line and apparently the cesteel shop drawings are not yet complete for the masanry walls so work was discontinued until approval is given. Made one set of three mortar test samples. P a ement: Concrete placed today at stem walls on north wall between lines 7 and 10 and on line 10 from G-2 to B-2, and column p3ds on line 9 at C-2, D-2, and E-2. Reinforcina: Resteel was inspected and found to be we31 placed with proper laps. Forms were clean and tight. Concrete: Concrete was delivered by Cadman, and placed by pump. All concrete was internally vibrated for consolidation. Cast one set of three concrete kest cylinders from a sample having a slump of 4 1/4" at point oE placement. INSPECTOR: 'SOB GARDNER
