/( EVER 'TT MALL EXPANSION <br />September 21, 1979 <br />Information to help clarify requirements of the Checklist prior to approval <br />of Building Permits and Occupancy for the Everett Mall expansion. <br />Prior to approval of Building Permit the applican'r is required to: <br />1. Submit legally executed Warranty Deed for 60 feet of Public Right Of _ <br />Way connecting South Broadway to existing 100th Street Right -Of Way <br />(North/South Arterial). Location of Right Of Way shall receive approval <br />from City Public Works- Department and Planning Department. <br />2. Submit legally executed Powers -Of -Attorney attached: y, ll <br />1 in <br />a. for LID improvement to North/South Arterial (this POA may contain i1 <br />a limiting clause that it can not be used unless the P.IJ.D. corridor ,,.f i T^ <br />is closed as an arterial). Total costs for new street about 200 per �T7' <br />linear foot*. Vrh'�% <br />b. for L.I.D. improvements to South Broadway. Total costs for improve- 1 <br />ment about $120 per linear foot*. �,b� <br />c. for L.T.D. improvements to 100th Street. Total cost for improve,•nent �, 1. <br />about $30 per foot PLUS $60 to $80,000 for signal at 7th Ave. & / <br />100th *. <br />NOTE: The City of Everett. is relying upon ^ ovisions contained in R.C.W. 35.43 1 <br />and 35.44 and the Public Hearing process to -determine costs fo tenefited Y' <br />properties within L.I.D.'Boundaries (which are not yet established) for <br />the above L.I.D. costs. <br />3.- .Approved Plans for improvements to PU.D. arterial corridor from South <br />Broadway to 100th Street Right Of. Way including all necessary improve- . <br />ments to bring the corridor up to City Standards; those improvements" <br />shall include drainage corrections, asphalt repair, unobstructed sidewalks <br />and handicap curb ramps, channelization, stop signs, and pavement markings <br />at all intersections. Plans shall include ownership lines. <br />Submit legally executed Sub -lease (or document acceptable to the City) <br />relinquishing all private interest in the P.IJ.D. -- Mall North/South <br />arterial corridor to the City for maintenance and enforcement purposes. <br />COSTS DEPEND ON MAGNITUDE OF PROPOSAL <br />4. Approved Plans for internal traffic circulation (directional arrows, stop <br />bars, lane lines) include drain age "corrections, asphalt repair, bicycle racks,bus <br />schedule/route information racks. <br />5. Traffic signal is required to be installed prior to occupancy at the C_ .1tral <br />Mall entrance, details not available at this time, but shall be worked <br />out with City prior to building permits being issued .............. <br />COSTS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME, PROBABLY IN THE $60,000 +o <br />6. Traffic Signal is required at the existing P.O.D./South Broadway inter- <br />section (or as relocated, to new right-of-way). This signal installation <br />is required at such time as it is determined necessary by the Public <br />
