Building Permit Application for New Panera Bread Store in Everett <br />File No. B1210-009 <br />Dear Ms. Hazen, <br />The Planning Department reviewed the plans submitted for construction permits for the new store at <br />304 SE Everett Mall Way. The plans included architectural site plan, civil plans and landscape plans. <br />Prior to approval of the plans, please provide the following revisions/additional information: <br />1. Rooftop Mechanical Equipment Screening Details — Pursuant to Subsection 39.040.0 of the <br />Zoning Code, all rooftop mechanical equipment must be architecturally screened. According to <br />the roof and mechanical plans, there will be a number of vents, fans, etc. mounted on the roof <br />of the structure. Please provide sufficient details showing how this requirement will be met. <br />2. Landscape Plan (Sheet C-7) —The landscape islands within the interior of the north parking area, <br />abutting Everett Mall Way, do not meet the requirements of Subsection 35.080.1) of the Zoning <br />Code. Specifically, the number of trees and spacing standards are not met by the proposed <br />layout. Please note that one tree is required for every eight parking stalls, and that no parking <br />stall may be located more than 50 feet from an internal landscape area. We estimate that for <br />the 22 parking stalls within this area, a total of three (3) trees is required. <br />Please'provide three copies of the plan revisions to our office. One this information is provided, the <br />Planning Department will sign off on its portion of the building permit.
