Sections 105.5 and R105.5 of the International Building <br />Code and International Residential Code state that permits become inva!id if the work is not <br />commenced or is suspended or abandoned for more than 180 nays. Work under your permits <br />will no longer be authorized unless you: <br />11 Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br />your last inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of the Aork that is completed, or <br />3) Submit a written request for a 183 day extension, detailing justifiable cause for extension. <br />It is your responsibility to ensure tha. permitted won,, is properly and safely completed, and that <br />all required inspections are performeJ. Please contact us by December 3, 2012 to <br />schedule inspections or request extension. After that time the file will be sent to \ <br />microfilm without final approval. <br />Please note that we will not be sending repeated letters if after ;urther inspections the permit <br />once again reaches expiration.
