The shelves must be smooth and easily <br />cleanable. Your storage space is quite limited. <br />11) The existing high textured walls must be resurfaced so they <br />are smootli or covered with anproved plastic laminites so <br />they ar� easily cleanable. The electrical conduit creates <br />a cleaning problem when they are located outside the wall. <br />12) The existing fluorescent light fixtures are missing the � <br />end pieces (grommets). All kitchen light fixtures must <br />have shields or protective guards. <br />13) At least 20 £oot-candles of light is required on all <br />working surfaces. <br />14) The existing vinyl floor tile is in good repair; however. <br />the wood base must be replaced with a sanitary coved base. <br />15) AdequatP facilities must be provided for the orderly <br />storage of employee's clothing and personal belongings. <br />16) Indicating thermometers are required for each refrigeration <br />unit. <br />17) Flower plants are not permitted in the kitchen --- only in <br />the dining area. <br />18a) The plan review was made from the information you provided <br />the Snohomish Health District. The health department wi.11 <br />^.onfirm with you those areas which are in quest-ion. <br />b) Should there be any major changes and/or additions to your <br />layout plan and equipment specifications, you must notify <br />the health department of the changes. <br />19) It should be pointed out that the health department approval <br />of the finished installation (equipment and facilities) is <br />�ubject to the final field inspection. Therefore, when <br />ready, you should call for the final inspection. The health <br />depart•ment will make field checks of consti:uction. <br />20) In ].980, the Snohomish Health District's Board of Health <br />sstablistied a plan review charge for review of all layout _,, <br />plans and specifications.
