a, Findin : The applicant has stated that the city code allows <br />for them to have 50 square feet of sign area but that they have <br />no place to put it. Applebee's has an existmg freestanding pole <br />sign near the Future Shop building but is not interested m <br />allowing Future Shop any space on the pole to place a sign. <br />b, Conclusions: Sign Category "A" of the City's Zoning Code <br />allows one free standmg s�gt per lot for each 300 feet of street <br />frontage or fraction thereof, provided that no more than 4 <br />freestanding signs shall be�pe � addifional 25 square �feet for <br />shall be 75 square feet, p <br />each additional business on a lot having more than one <br />business, up to a ma�cimum 150 square feet. <br />The property is unique in that it is approximately 6.5 acres with <br />only 432 feet of street frontage for allowable signase <br />Criterioa No. 2• <br />That the variance will not be materially detrimenta! to the propercy in the <br />area of the subject propefi� or to the City as a whole. <br />�.
