'17ie ongoing day <br />t�-day operaticn of the building would include periodic <br />notification o:E t,e tenants a�i3 the various occupants so <br />they understand that when an ala,:m does soimd there is to <br />be iimnediate evacua=ion unless previously notified to r.he <br />contrary. <br />3. Provide a ventilation system ii?r smoke remo��al in the <br />stairwells. <br />4. Provide for automatic shut down of the buildings hea:ing <br />and air conditioning system simultaneous ;aith the alarm <br />system (item N1 above) being activated. <br />5. Provide in both stairways a combination pressurized <br />charged stand pipe. 7i:is will enable the first fire <br />dep2rtanent crew to anive to internally have access to <br />a pressurized source of water at two points on each floor. <br />We believe that by incorporating these non-code required items into the <br />building, the ad�*antages the Everett Pire Department is looking for will <br />be an integral part of the building. <br />After your review of these proposed alternatives, we look fonvard to <br />reviei,�ing this situation with you� further.
