CITY OF EVERETT CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 1 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE FOR PHASE A FACILITIES FOR UPGRADE OF THE EVERETT WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY (WPCF) EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF WORK Planned engineering services to be performed in accordance with Article 8 of the Agreement comprise and are limited to those specifically set forth in this exhibit.These services are for the construction management assistance work associated with the Project,as described herein. The Scope of Work for this Project assumes that all construction activities will occur on the existing EWPCF site. It is also based on the assumption that. the City has hired a Construction Contractor(General Contractor/Construction Manager-GC/CM)under a separate Agreement with the City. This Construction Contractor will participate with Brown and Caldwell for aspects of the scope of work as defined in this Change Order Number 1. The specific elements of the work in this Change Order Number 1 are subdivided into the following tasks: Task Title Task 610 Submittal Review Task 620 Change Order Preparation Task 630 Miscellaneous Office Engineering Task 640 General On-Site Field Services Task 641 On-Site Geotechnical Inspections Task 650 Materials Testing Task 660 Operations and Maintenance Manual Task 670 Startup Services Task 680 As-Built Documentation Task 690 Project Management Task 699 Unanticipated Services OVERVIEW OF DESIGN WORK The design work has been completed with participation by the City and the City's designated GC/CM contractor. City staff and staff from the GC/CM contractor have participated in regularly scheduled meetings during the course of design to provide input to the design process. Decisions,discussions,and information to be transferred have been documented.
