Task 699. Unanticipated Tasks <br /> Objective. The purpose of this task is to provide engineering services for activities that were not anticipated <br /> for this project at the time of writing and adoption of this scope. <br /> Approach. This task involves establishing a budget to provide additional work as requested by the City. <br /> The costs incurred for out of scope work conducted during the facilities planning and pre-design activities <br /> will be paid via authorizations from this task. Authorization to develop specific scope items and to utilize the <br /> budget contained in this task will be done only with written direction from the City. Since the actual scope of <br /> work for this task is unknown,an allowance is allotted for this task. This task also includes costs of <br /> approximately$31,000 to cover the out-of-scope work performed for the development of the Facilities Plan. <br /> Activities/Products. The Consultant shall provide a detailed scope of work description and budget for <br /> each unanticipated scope of work item identified in this task. The Consultant will then proceed with that <br /> scope item if and when written authorization is received from the City. <br /> City Responsibilities.
